Worldwide Waypoints, LLC (Worldwide) has developed mobile apps for outdoor events, initially for marathons, but any outdoor event venue will fit (trekking, races, festivals, etc.). Worldwide will join forces with event based Organizations with content to share. The Event App is available on Apple and Google stores. Worldwide is currently seeking early adopters with content to share.
The Trekking Nepal App focuses specifically on Nepal
Why a Trekking Nepal App?
Even though Worldwide has created Event Packs with trekking all over the place (Uganda, Kenya, Eastern Europe, etc) this app was created specifically because Nepal is the King of trekking as far as we are concerned. The Nepal Trekking App also provided a unique setting to develop and test new eShop features (Agency, Accommodation, Blog, eateries and physical store referrals).
Why Does A Trek Agency/Orgnizaton Need Trekking Nepal App?
- Provide users with an integrated mobile view of your Treks by map, cards and calendar.
- Send trek information, news and updates to user mobile devices (before, during & after). This includes News to all your Organizations users or just by the Trek they are registered to.
- Interact with users by setting up and curating Forum Trek Topics. (No exchange of personal data to connect with other Event participants needed).
- Provide Users with tracks to let them explore the treks in greater detail from their mobile devices. This includes walk, run, cycle, drive or fly through the course simulations using Open Street or Satellite maps.
- Keep tabs on participants with easy check in or in emergencies with the ‘Send my location’ feature.
- Sell more and register more with the app eShop that links to Agency/seller web sites.
- When a User Logs in the organization gains additional insight and demographics..
- Make life easier for your users by providing multiple language support (English, Italian & Spanish).
- Organizations will have admin rights to the user meta data that stored on web hosting servers.

Join the Outdoor Events Team
Worldwide Waypoints, LLC (Worldwide) needs to grow its team. We need both Country/Industry Representatives and Student Interns. These needs are spread across geographic country/regions and within specific industries. See the ever changing breakdown below.
These requirements are relative to the 3 flavors of the App.

Country Representatives
These positions are basically one-per-country or region as stated below.
This person is responsible for information gathering, contacting prospective event organizers, helping collect and formatting organization event data, initial setup in the app and placement of Event Packs on our web servers for user access.
This person will figure out how to monetize the app within their designated region per Event Promoters. Initially Worldwide is providing the core app (Outdoor Events) for free to both users and Event Promoters. This will change for the Event Promoters depending which of the 3 flavors they chose to use and the monetization plan developed.
Find prospective Event Organizers who wish to have their own custom (reskinned/rebranded) version of the Outdoor Events app. Determine the appropriate annual fee structure for the custom app.
Remuneration is simple. You “eat 50% of what you kill”. Any revenue you generate will be split 50/50 with Worldwide Waypoints LLC.

Student Interns
These positions are basically one-per-country or region depending on the needs of the Country Reps.
This person is responsible for helping the Country Rep with information gathering, contacting prospective event organizers, collecting and formatting organization event data, initial setup in the app and placement of Event Packs on our web servers for user access. Term of service is flexible but 3 months is preferable.
Student with their own laptop is a plus.
Knowledge required by the student includes, but is not limited to:
Microsoft Office software Adobe Photoshop Text Editors (Sublime, Write, Notepad, etc.). Web Browser and Google searches. Completed post-high school level Marketing classes. Limited Computer Science classes a plus but not required.
Remuneration is simple.
A free lunch if the Rep feels it is appropriate and you work onsite. A recommendation letter from Worldwide Waypoints LLC, a Florida, USA corporation. Training videos on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and App Store Optimatization (ASO). Hands on experience with new app store/market releases, penetration and statistics.
