A day (& night) in the life of Varanasi is just that. A casual day spent in the Indian town of Varanasi (also called Benares or Kasi). In this video you will see that the town is the canvas and the people are the unique brush strokes. And every day is a new painting. And then in the evening, we visit Ganga Aarti. The Ganga Aarti is performed by young priests who are pursuing their Vedas and Upanishads. Aarti means a ritual that dispels darkness in Sanskrit. Aarti is offered to the River Ganga by chanting Mantras while performing certain rituals in 7 stages.
