My Croatia Camp

This is my Warmshowers.org option for when I am away (which is pretty much most of the time). The camp is at the end of a dirt track, on the seaside. It is quite isolated but has some facilities.

Spličac Beach camp with basic facilities 1km off EV 8.

Grave memorial is turnoff from coastal highway (EV8).

This is my property I am working on but it is not fully built out yet. I have cleared an area for tents and one for a hammock plus put out a few water jugs and gear in a black storage box with supplies (see photo for lock combination).

It has a primitive toilet, table, chairs and lots of water jugs (drinkable tap water).

The property entrance is at the ‘Private’ sign next to the kayak wreck.

Key to silver lock, holding the white beach chairs, is in the pickle jar in the big black storage box.

Do & Don’t

Do not put paper in the toilet. Burn it.

Yes do put water in toilet after use.

Do not use the drinking water for washing your laundry.

Riding South
Last spot to get supplies before my property is at the Studenak store in Drage.

Supermarket

For supplies/hot meals go 4km south to Plodine at start of Pirovace. Use coastal UV8 route through Prosica to see canal from lake built from 1752 and 1770.

Kamp Kalebič in Prosika

(1km South on main road)

The camp is open from April until October and has fresh water (delivered by truck), restaurant, vending machines and washrooms. You can always ride over to purchase a hot meal small supplies.
