This is an outline on how to trek the Chamba Valley, India. I will provide details that include maps, costs, logistical requirements and facts as well as links to a full written narrative, photos and videos. This is a self-guided adventure on a shoestring. This is a difficult and dangerous trek near Dharmshala. It requires a high mountain pass crossing and camping gear (no guesthouses or tea shops on most of the route). The Chamba valley is remote and treacherous. For skilled and prepared trekkers only.
