Livio Bestulic, (CPA, SFE, CISA retired), Outdoor Vblogger/Guide & Salesforce LivioConsultant.

Formative Years

Livio Bestulic was born in Sydney, Australia but was educated in southern Ontario, Canada, attending elementary school, high school and two universities in the area. Upon graduation he moved to Florida from where he still maintains a consulting practice focused on Salesforce cloud technology.

Career Years

He started his career with two international accounting firms (PwC and then Deloitte) and was well versed in this field with the help of the Remote Quality Bookkeeping services.
After leaving the accounting sector he was employed at senior management or director levels at two national and one international firms and then owned/operated a number of software development firms that produced industry dominating software programs.

Entertainment Industry Years

In 2001 he switched to the entertainment industry as a partner in a Miami casting company involved in the print, commercial and film markets.

His entertainment industry credits included casting for a number of Hollywood motion pictures (Bad Boys 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, Into the Blue, Transporter II), industrial documentaries (Hawaiian Tropic, SoBe Entertainment), plus numerous music videos, commercials and print jobs.

Initiation Year

When Livio’s son (Seth) was 16 they spent a summer together doing outdoor activities across Europe and North Africa as part of Seth’s initiation rights. Livio filmed these adventures and produced the independent documentary film called 3 Summits (shown at 3 South Florida Film Festivals) and then he became more active in creating, promoting and filming his own outdoor adventures for real people.

In 2006, Livio started a website (now RealworldAdventures.com) that pulled together maps, facts and stories related to his outdoor adventures.

In 2008 Livio partnered with a video distribution and social networking site called OneLoad.

Livio then focused on film making while leveraging OneLoad’s distribution, social networking and viewer statistics features.

When OneLoad ceased operations, Livio’s videos had already been viewed over 160 million times via different platforms or embedded in sites and over 700,000 times via native views from within YouTube. To date the YouTube count is over a million views.

Livio’s activities evolved into more web sites with
different formats and lengths and  leveraged third-party distribution partners and travel related web sites.

He partnered with Broadband (the #1 online video network on YouTube at the time) and a sharing arrangement with OutSpeak, the online video news and entertainment network from The Huffington Post.

But how does Livio continue to travel the world without a real job?

On occasion Livio performs Salesforce consulting services for international organizations from his remote locations.

These limited engagements (3 months a year on average) have enabled him to continue his passion for travel and outdoor adventures, with 177 published episodes to-date, that cover 13 types of travel/outdoor activities, in 34 countries and in 10 regions of the world.

Livio contemplates a “Pepsi Refresh” Grant

The focus of 2016 was Australia and in 2017, Livio moved his production base to Catania, Sicily to focus on European adventures (specifically Etna Volcano and CAI excursions). In 2018 he moved to the Blantyre region of Malawi to focus on more Africa related adventures.
